Over three days at WTM Africa 2025, we connected with an inspiring mix of industry professionals, from potential partners to long-standing clients who stopped by our stand to catch up and see what’s new in the Roam landscape. It was a milestone moment for our team as we presented our full offering to the public at scale for the first time.
Roam’s solution was designed with one goal in mind: to simplify and strengthen how African travel businesses handle international payments. We enable operators to quote customers in their home currency and allow those customers to pay locally via bank transfer or card. And uniquely, Roam has the ability to guarantee the foreign exchange rate for up to two years on a booking — a feature that we haven’t seen elsewhere in the industry.
The positive response at WTM affirmed the value of our solution: travel businesses across Africa are ready for a simpler, more flexible way to manage cross-border payments, and we’re excited to help our partners grow with confidence.
