Sales Executive

Roam is on a mission to simplify international payments for Africa’s travel industry—and we’re growing fast.
We’re looking for a Sales Executive who’s ready to lead growth across Africa and global markets. If you love the travel industry, thrive on closing deals, and want to help businesses scale—this is your next big move.
🚀 What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: from prospecting to pitch to close
- Win new business with African tour operators, DMCs, and accommodation providers
- Present and demo Roam’s platform with clarity and confidence
- Collaborate across product, marketing, and operations teams to deliver value
- Use CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage pipeline and meet sales targets
✅ What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in full-cycle sales—preferably in travel, FX or payments
- Understanding of the travel trade ecosystem across African tour operators, DMCs, and accommodation providers
- Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset – proactive, curious, accountable
- Experience working with travel companies or international payments is a bonus

Account Manager
THE POSITION
As part of the Customer Success team, you will be our first point of contact in working directly with an array of clients to understand the needs of them and their customers. You know that by providing top-level support, you can leverage our platform to deliver a level of service to our clients that will help to grow their business and proactively solve challenges they face.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Roam is built on Salesforce, the world’s number one CRM. You’ll be working with this technology to:
- Fully support all aspects of a client’s booking process – if they ever need assistance, you’ll be there
- Train clients to confidently use our platform
- Work directly with sales consultants to ensure that they maximise the benefits of being a Roam travel partner
- Play a supporting role to our business development team by assisting them with the preparation of historic and forecasted platform data for improved management decision-making
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The right person to come onboard is going to have:
- A degree from a leading university
- Proven experience working in a customer support role
- Familiarity with the African travel landscape
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Outstanding organisational abilities
- A clear communicator with excellent verbal and written abilities

Financial & Operation Accountant
THE POSITION
As part of the Finance Management team, numbers and processes are a key part of an exciting bigger picture for you. You know that by using your accounting expertise and eye for detail, you can leverage our platform to deliver a level of service to our clients that will help to grow their business and proactively solve challenges they face.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Roam is built on Salesforce, the world’s number one CRM. You’ll be working with this technology to:
- Provide Accounts Receivable support to clients
- Reconcile payments made through multiple different channels
- Manage the settlement of client funds in-line with their settlement schedule
- Load payments through multiple different banking systems
- Prepare financial data and providing bookkeeping support to the business
- Assist in the compilation of tax returns to ensure compliance across payroll, vat, income tax
- Play a supporting role to our accountants by assisting them with the preparation of management packs, quantitative and qualitative data analysis for improved management decision-making
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The right person to come onboard is going to have:
- An accounting or finance degree from a leading university
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or junior accountant – familiarity with Xero is beneficial
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles
- Advanced Excel skills – this is a must as we’ll ask you to demonstrate it
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills
- Outstanding organisational abilities
- A clear communicator with excellent verbal and written abilities
- Great attention to detail and analytical acumen
