THE ALL-IN RATE
Ask for the All-In Rate, not the card fee.
Most payment providers advertise a card fee. But the card fee is only part of what a payment costs you. The rest hides in the exchange rate, in bank charges, and in the hours your team spends reconciling it all.
Any provider can quote you a low card fee. We start with the number that actually hits your bottom line: your All-In Rate. Then, in your proposal, we break it down fee by fee, from the card rate (as low as 1.6% for qualifying volumes) to the FX markup, so you can see exactly where every cent goes and make the best decision for your business. Work out your All-In Rate below in two minutes.
What’s inside an All-In Rate
What your current card fee leaves out, when you compare providers, add up all of it:
- The card or transfer fee. The number everyone advertises.
- The exchange-rate markup. The gap between the rate you’re given and the real market rate. It rarely appears on an invoice.
- Bank and transfer charges. Fees taken by banks along the way, often before the money reaches you.
- Rate movement between deposit and balance. If the rate moves before the final payment, you re-quote your client or absorb the loss.
- Admin time. Matching payments to bookings, chasing balances and handling refunds.
